Annual Meeting

Another great event is behind us. On Thursday, April 17, South River EMC hosted our Annual Meeting of Members at the Crown Arena and Theatre in Fayetteville. Thank you to all who attended and we hope that you will join us again next year for an even better event!

Entertainment

The evening’s entertainment will be provided by the Band of Oz. This band is one of the most successful groups in the Southeast, and continues to get the very best reviews from the top people in the entertainment business. The Band of Oz features a full horn section to total a dynamic eight-member group. They perform well over 200 shows per year.

Bazaar

We will also again have a vast array of vendors on hand to speak with you about their products and services. Space is still available. Call Catherine O’Dell at 892-8071, or send an e-mail to codell @ sremc.com.

Kids' Korner

We aim to make the children’s entertainment better each year! The Kids’ Korner offers a safe, secure, fun place for you to leave your children (ages 4 to 12-years-old) while you enjoy the meeting. We will have inflatable rides for the children. Each child will receive a goody bag at the end of the night. We will also have snacks for the kids.

Prizes

Of course, there will be no shortage of door prizes. The grand prize will be a used 2002 GMC 1200 series pickup truck. Also, a goody bag will go to the first 1,000 registered members. Bags will include a home/auto emergency safety kit and each registered member will get $10 off their next electric bill.
