Reporting an Outage

In the event of an outage, please call 888-338-5530 and follow the automated system prompts. This is the most efficient way to notify the Cooperative of your outage.

South River EMC has installed two new systems to provide members with even better quality service.

Telelink is an integrated voice response phone system and Porche is an automated outage management system.These programs will allow members to give and receive information quickly.

Both systems are tied to members’ phone numbers. When a member contacts the Cooperative, they will be asked for their phone number in order for the system to search for account information. Additionally, South River EMC needs reliable phone numbers in order to send outbound messages to members.

We understand that some members do not like automated phone systems, that’s why you can press “0” to speak to an attendant at any time.
